The gallery file manager is similar to Joomla’s Media Manager except it works specifically with XGallery.

There are two display tabs for viewing gallery media. They are Thumbnail View and Detail View. When browsing the File Manager, to browse folders click on its image icon. To select that folder as a collection location, click the folder name. When browsing for an image to use as a thumbnail, click the image thumbnail to see a larger size. Click the image name to select the image name. If you want to delete an image you click the little red circle with an x in the center. Note the server must have permission to delete images. If you FTP’d the image, the server might not have permission. Clicking the Cancel button will take you back to your previous location.
